Lisa Klemens and Anja Gallus from the German Oceanographic Museum express concern over the treatment of a stranded humpback whale named 'Timmy'. They emphasize that Timmy is a wild animal, not a pet, and discuss the challenges of trying to save him. Despite efforts to help, there is little hope for his survival as he may starve to death. The researchers highlight the dangers of gillnets in the Baltic Sea, which pose a significant threat to marine life, including Timmy.
