Students at MIT developed an AI system called Human Operator that guides hand movements using electrical muscle stimulation. The device combines AI models, cameras, and muscle stimulation hardware, allowing AI to assist users in performing tasks like waving or playing piano. It analyzes the environment and converts spoken commands into physical responses through muscle stimulation. The prototype was created during a hackathon and won the Learn Track award.
