Farmers in Europe are preparing for protests in Brussels regarding EU funding, particularly the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). A survey indicates strong support for mobilization, especially in Spain and Poland. Concerns focus on potential cuts to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the merging of various funding instruments into a single pot. Agriculture Commissioner Christophe Hansen is seen as a potential ally, but worries remain about the integrity of the CAP budget. The upcoming protest is expected to be smaller but still significant, reflecting a collaborative mood despite ongoing concerns.
