South Koreans will vote in a snap presidential election on Tuesday after the ousting of Yoon Suk-yeol due to his controversial martial law declaration. Lee Jae-myung, the liberal frontrunner, is expected to win against Kim Moon-soo of the conservative party. The new president will face immediate challenges, including domestic unity and trade tensions with the US, while the election campaign has been marred by personal attacks and political slander.
