Pakistan has launched airstrikes on Afghanistan's capital Kabul and other cities, declaring 'open war' after Taliban forces attacked Pakistani border positions. The Pakistani Defence Minister stated that patience with the Taliban has run out, leading to significant military operations that resulted in the deaths of 133 Taliban fighters. The conflict escalated after the Taliban's large-scale offensive operations against Pakistani positions, which they claimed were retaliatory. The ongoing dispute is rooted in accusations that the Taliban harbors TTP militants who attack Pakistan, and the situation is further complicated by Pakistan's concerns over the Taliban's ties with India.
