A watch made for Marie Antoinette, described as 'the world’s most famed watch', will be displayed at London’s Science Museum as part of the Versailles: Science And Splendour exhibition starting on 12 December. Commissioned in 1783 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, the watch was completed in 1827 and features 823 parts made from luxurious materials. It has a storied history, including being stolen in 1983 and returning to the LA Mayer Museum in 2008. The exhibition will showcase over 100 objects. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
