Your country’s sovereign wealth fund, decided by a machine? Kazakhstan says yes
Cikk tartalma röviden
Kazakhstan's sovereign wealth fund, Samruk-Kazyna, has introduced SKAI, an AI-generated independent board director, marking a first in Central Asia. This AI system, trained on internal documents since 2008, aims to enhance decision-making within the fund. Presented to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the 2025 Digital Bridge forum in Astana, SKAI operates on a supercomputer and processes data locally. Kazakhstan is positioning itself as a leader in AI adoption, with plans for a digital economy and a unified AI ecosystem, including the launch of an AI research university and the Alem AI Centre. The country is also fostering startups and international collaborations to enhance its digital sovereignty.
