The automotive industry in Europe is crucial for the economy and climate goals, but the transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) is at risk due to inadequate infrastructure and policies. The industry has invested significantly in ZEVs, yet the current regulatory framework may lead to failure in meeting the 2030 CO2 targets. Urgent action is needed from the European Commission to support commercial vehicle manufacturers and ensure a successful transition.
